Other interests besides songwriting include Reiki. In 2001 I attainted the First Degree of reiki in the Usui System of Natural Healing under a traditional Reiki Master. Daily practice of yoga has wonderful physical benefits and the breathing techniques to quiet the mind are the basis for all Yoga. As a senior member of Friends of The Boca Raton Public Library, I support the community in current programs. I volunteer at Insight For The Blind in Fort Lauderdale, FL., recording "talking books" for the blind and visually impaired adults and children. These are distributed free of charge through the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. I spend some time at Tri-County Humane Society socializing dogs for adoption...and I have the best sweetest, most loveable cocker spaniel that I adopted over two years ago... and here's Honey!
